English Premier League club Manchester City are only a UEFA Champions League title away from becoming the perfectly complete club, according to the club's former player, Samir Nasri. The club, currently managed by Pep Guardiola have managed to win every single domestic title in England since the appointment of the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager but despite having multiple chances in the lady, they are yet to lay their hands on the UEFA Champions League crown - something that Guardiola has revealed that he would absolutely love to do before his time as City manager comes to an end.

The closest City have come to winning the European title was last season as they made their way to the final of the competition to face their fellow English Premier League rivals Chelsea. Guardiola guided his City side to the final of the UCL and they somehow looked like they were finally going to achieve their dream of clinching the title but their hopes were dashed by a Thomas Tuchel-managed Chelsea side courtesy of a Kai Havertz lone strike in the encounter between the two sides.

Before last season, they had never reached the final of the competition and although they gave everything they had and threw everything at the Blues in the final last season, they just could not find a way to break the Blues' resilient spirit.

Nasri, an English Premier League title winner at City, has now claimed that the only trophy he would love to see the club win is the Champions League trophy and with the last-16 fixtures of this season's UCL games set to be played later this month, the former France international midfielder has backed his former club to finally get the title to the Etihad.
