Samir Nasri wants to continue with Manchester City despite all of the competition
Manchester City is expected to have a busy summer transfer window as Manuel Pellegrini wants to get over the disappointing season of the Premier League where they finished in the 2nd spot but failed on winning any major trophy after being knocked out from the Champions League and losing the league race against Chelsea.
In order to overcome such an underwhelming campaign, Pellegrini will be making big changes within his squad as well as add new players to his squad and the Chilean manager has already signed: Raheem Sterling and Ernes Unal, just to name a few of the new arrivals of this summer but more signings are expected to be made but despite all the competition that all of these players will bring into the team, Samir Nasri still wants to continue performing at the Etihad Stadium.
The French midfielder is focused on making a good start in the upcoming season and landing a regular spot in the team Manuel Pelllegrini which can help the Premier League club in their journey of winning major trophies.
Manchester City’s Samir Nasri said: ‘’Who we need is a question for the manager but if we want to be competitive in every competition and take a step forward in the Champions League we need to strengthen in every area. I want to be focused on my rehab. I'm going to come back as fit as possible with a new state of mind and have a great season and win trophies’’
For the past few weeks, Nasri was linked with a return to Arsenal but the French midfielder denied those claims as he is only interested in turning into an influential figure for Manchester City like he used to be a few years ago but he hasn’t been such an important player in recent times.
